Exploring London: the Big Ben (theory :P)

Dramatic Big Ben perspective

LONDON, UK – While the first time I saw the Big Ben in real life was on the DoubleDecker tourist bus (yes, really chasing photo opportunities in EVERY possible way :D), these are probably my fav images of it from this trip….thank you wind and fluffy clouds! Well, I actually kept walking around and around there for hours UNTIL a nice sky appeared, but that’s what photographers do, right? ;) Enjoy xxxx

Loving Nature: Araliya beauty

White frangipani blooms

QUEENSLAND, AUSTRALIA – Missing these beautiful trees from Surfers Paradise and their lovely tropical scent now that I am back in the Northern Hemisphere.  I went on a serious chase to take all the possible pics of them and these are my favorite. Also, their petals are soft as a cloud :) Just seeing them makes me happy… I hope you are gonna share this feeling. Call them frangipani, plumeria or araliya…. they are just the best to me :) Which ones do you prefer, the pink or the white version? Enjoy the pics xx

Mayfair, picture perfect streets of London

Beautiful houses in Mayfair, London with the typical black cab

Mayfair (as in Mayfair, London …not the Instagram filter :D) is such a perfect area to take your camera for a walk :) Battery charged, SD emptied, get ready for so many good looking and interesting details  it is gonna occupy quite a few hours of your time before you feel like leaving it :) I chose to take these pics with a 50mm 1.4 lens to add a little bit of dreamy effect to these already shamelessly pretty streets :) Hope you enjoy xx

Exploring Paris: memories from the Tour Eiffel and Trocadero

Empty benches in the Trocadero gardens and beautiful Tour Eiffel view

After all the many London appreciation posts, here is a bit of romance for all the Paris lovers out there :) It’s been a loooong while since I have been there but I still like to look back at the pictures from those days. Is there a thing as too many Tour Eiffel shots? Judging from the archives it’s not even a concept :) Enjoy xx

Late summer vibes in Cannes: from the Croisette to the Casino

The Croisette at dusk

Calling all summer lovers who just don’t want the new season to sets in to come to the French Riviera ! :) Here are some images of yesterday’s dusk along the Croisette…. so hot it really doesn’t feel like September at all and the beaches seem to be pretty packed with tourists. Really appreciate this last taste of summer by the seaside after spending the holidays discovering some (awesomely pretty) cities like New York and London ! The world is beautiful xx

Sydney, Australia: the Bondi effect

Gorgeous weather in Bondi beach in Sydney, Australia I call it the Bondi effect. It’s that feeling that you have when you are travelling somewhere new and just happen to run into one of those places that make you realize what life really is about, so much that you never want to leave. Ever. The sense of freedom and overwhelming beauty that surrounds you is something a human being couldn’t ever forget. The energy and excitement of the place is just incredible and if you are the type of person who feels deeply connected to nature and is particularly sensitive to the beauty of majestic landscapes, then there is nothing like Australia for you.

Tasmania Discovered

Kingston beach in Hobart Tasmania

After the images from Times Square, NY the next stop on the blog is Hobart, Tasmania! :) If like me you have boarded a 30+ hours flight from Europe to Australia and once landed you still feel like spending a couple more hours on a domestic flight, I recommend you head over to Tassie :) You’ll probably experience a whole new level of wilderness and will feel immersed in a little world in which nature looks pristine and mysterious, the skies are dramatically charming, the local birds are PINK (yeh, they are but no, they are not flamingos… Galahs are way cuter :P ) and you are gonna need to switch from your bikini to your winter jacket about 10 times per day according to the wind’s fun.
